Every Day

Every Day - David Levithan I loved the concept of how the main character would have a new body each day. The stories were so unique for each person gave an insight on different lives. As well as showing different point of views. I did enjoy how gender was played with and seen more fluidly then as a permanent aspect. But some things didn't mesh well. I felt A was a little too judgmental with some life styles and did not dig deep enough to why a certain life style was preferred. A would pass judgement before even trying to understand why the person was the way they were. The romance seemed to only take away from the experience that A was having in each persons body. I felt instead of the romance helping the plot be stronger it just took away from Rihanna's character, making her seem less open and superficial. I believe the story could have dug deeper into issues brought up.
