Books and Pets
I believe literature is for everyone.... Yes even animals. They may not understand what the story is or the words being spoken but I think there is an emotional bond that is shared. Through the reader and the hearer. The sound of someones voice and the fluctuations can be very smoothing. Which by the way is why I read to my cats so often. They seem to calm down and purr louder. Which is why reading to shelter animals is an awesome thing! Should be done everywhere. This helps the animal become more comfortable to humans and in turn help the child better their reading and immune system.
